Lund University Libraries 

Are you having a difficult time finding the material you need for your research paper? Do you need help understanding how to reference correctly in academic texts? Or do you simply want to print out a document?

The libraries at Lund University can teach you about information retrieval, source evaluation and reference management. In the libraries, you can print, copy and scan. You also have the option of booking an appointment with a librarian to get individual guidance in an information-related question.

The libraries can also support those of you who have reading and writing difficulties. Contact your faculty library to receive adapted course literature, create an account in Legimus, and gain access to audiobooks, for example.

Disability Support Services 

Do you have a permanent disability, such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism or vision impairment? Would you benefit from teaching or examination to be customised according to your needs?

The Student Health Centre

Do you worry a lot about your study situation? Do you tend to procrastinate studying until the last minute? Or do you get anxiety before certain elements of the teaching?

The Student Health Centre offers support if you find your study situation difficult to handle. On their website, you will find loads of practical advice - about stress, worry and feeling depressed but also about things like sleep, exercise and sexual and reproductive health.

The Student Health Centre also offers counselling support for you if you need further help, and you can participate in workshops, courses and lectures that they organise.

The Academic Support Centre 

Do you find it difficult to plan your time or to wrap your head around how you’re supposed to read everything on the course literature list?

If you find it difficult to establish good learning strategies on your own, you can book individual guidance at The Academic Support Centre. They can help you with strategies for planning, reading or writing. They can also give you textual feedback on essays and writing assignments.

The Students Union and the Student Ombudsman 

Do you think that something in your teaching is strange or unfair? Do you have questions concerning what’s OK or not at the university?

There is a student union for each study field at Lund University. You can turn to the union at any time to ask general questions or to report if you see a problem in the teaching. The unions work closely with the Student Ombud who can give advice on questions regarding, for example, courses, problems with assessment or accusation of cheating.
